The stop motion animation, created by Oren Lavie, is an original concept, and it's fairly new.
It's about a young woman sleepwalking on her bed and dreaming about various things. Her dreams are acted out by numerous different objects, such as pillows and instruments.
The subject matter is continuously shown throughout the video, seen to be dreaming about walking down a street and floating objects.
The only special effects used are things like pillows and sheets being made into different things like clouds and wind. The video took a total of 48 hours to make in total, without breaks.
The theme of the animation was about dreams, and sleepwalking.
The setting, being a bed, was perfect for the animation in my opinion, because it helped to highlight the meaning of the theme.
They made sure the use of lighting was appropriate and a constant throughout the whole video, which i can imagine would be hard doing over 48 hours with no breaks.
The song is great for the animation, and the video was actually created to accompany the song.
It helps set the purpose of the video.
There is only one camera angle throughout the entire thing. It makes sure the view of the ned is the main focus, and blocks out any distractions.
