Critique - Neighbours

The film, created by Norman McClaren, with the original story about two men who lived in harmony, until a flower blossomed in between their houses. They fought over who could have the flower, but in the end, they destroyed it, and hurt each other.

There are no special effects, apart from the film uses pixilation, an animation technique using live actors as stop-motion objects.
The theme of the film is about two men who had peace but destroyed it because they couldn't share.

McLaren created the soundtrack of the film by scratching the edge of the film, creating various blobs, lines, and triangles which the projector read as sound.
It helps create the good atmosphere for the film.
